OREANDA-NEWS. Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Malaysia) Berhad ("BTMU Malaysia"), a subsidiary of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. ("BTMU") signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Malaya.

The content of the MoU specifically outlines the cooperation between the bank and university in accepting current students for internship and graduate students for training at BTMU Malaysia. The objective is to provide the students with an opportunity to experience working environment in a financial institution and to strengthen the bank's relationship with University of Malaya and increase awareness about the bank among its students.

University of Malaya is the oldest university in Malaysia, founded in 1905, and it is the only university that has a Japanese studies course and research facilities specializing in Japanese language, education, politics, economics, international relations, and culture.

With the signing of the MoU, BTMU and BTMU Malaysia will actively support the training of global-minded people who are willing to take on challenges and share in activities involving various languages, cultures and values. BTMU and BTMU Malaysia will strive to solidify the foundation of human resources for expansion of our businesses in Asia, to meet the range of needs of BTMU customers operating in the region, and to provide financial services of the highest quality.
