Mazda's total domestic production volume in August 2013 decreased 11.9% compared to August 2012 due to decreased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's overseas production volume in August 2013 decreased 26.5% year-on-year, reflecting decreased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
Mazda's total domestic sales volume in August 2013 decreased 2.0% compared to August 2012, due to decreased sales of passenger vehicles.
Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.3% (down 0.2 points year-on-year), with a 3.3% share of the micro mini segment (up 0.5 points year-on-year) and a 4.5% total market share (unchanged year-on-year).
