OREANDA-NEWS. Metinvest Group's Azovstal and Ilyich Iron & Steel Works of Mariupol honored elderly ex-employees on International Day of Older Persons on October 1.

Celebrations for elderly ex-employees were held in the Cultural Center at Azovstal and at the Zabota Social Security Center for Ex-Employees at Ilyich Iron & Steel Works of Mariupol. Ex-employees were given souvenirs to mark the occasion.

Today, personnel keep improving on their best practices and stay in touch with ex-employees. Their wise advice is priceless to us.”

“The reputation that Ilyich Iron & Steel Works of Mariupol has today is in many ways to the credit of our ex-employees,” said Yuriy Zinchenko, Ilyich Iron & Steel Works of Mariupol general director. “Our goal is to make it possible for the bond between generations based on respect and unshakable steelmaking traditions to never be broken. We are grateful to our ex-employees for their selfless work and want to do everything so that they feel our care and support.”
