OREANDA-NEWS. Metalloinvest distributed grants to over 100 teachers and heads of schools and kindergartens, and instructors and specialists at sports schools, cultural and extra-curricular activities establishments as well as vocational training organisations of Novotroitsk. Dmitry Mitrofanov, Managing Director of Ural Steel (part of Metalloinvest), presented 90 awards to the winners of the 'Teacher 2013' contest. Nineteen directors and teachers at Novotroitsk schools received diplomas and bonuses for their work on the student admissions process at the educational institutions which are key to Ural Steel.

Every year, Ural Steel celebrates the outstanding work of teachers and heads of the town's educational institutions on the Teachers' Day. The plant has been holding this event for many years. Not only does it promote the teaching occupation and encourage education workers' professional growth, but also it acts as an acknowledgment of the work on professional guidance and the selection process for admissions to the plant's educational institutions.
