OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2013. As it was informed in ANRE, four companies operating at this market have notified ANRE about the intention to increase the cost of liquefied gas.

They explained this decision by the increase in the purchasing price of liquefied gas from July to September from USD 608 up to USD 777 per ton and devaluation of the national currency. ANRE noted that importers of gasoline and diesel fuel have not informed about their plans to increase the cost of these products at filling stations.

At the same time, the representatives of some oil companies intend to raise the price of the diesel fuel for the same reasons. Currently, liquefied gas at the filling stations in Moldova is sold at 8,95-8,99 lei per 1 liter. According to ANRE, in I half of 2013 compared to the same period of 2012 Moldova has increased imports of liquefied natural gas by 1.9 % - up to 34.3 thousand tons.

Average import price of liquefied gas decreased by 14.7 % - up to \\$ 719 per ton. In particular, in June the average import price of liquefied gas made \\$ 626 per ton. Leaders on the liquefied gas imports in the country in January -June 2013 were companies Printemps and LUKoil-Moldova, which accounted for 27.6 % and 26 % of the total volume of the fuel supplies during this period. Then follows: Dominic- 12,8%, Flaga Gaz - 8,9%, Tezed-S - 7 %, Rompetrol Moldova - 4,8%, Tirex-Petrol - 4,7%, Duvasen - 4,1 %.

According to ANRE, in I half of 2013 only 3 companies have reduced supplies to Moldova: Dominic - by 57,2%, Duvasen - by 31,5% and Rompetrol Moldova - by 13.2 %. Other importers increased their deliveries : Tirex-Petrol – by 5.6 times , Flaga Gaz - 4.3 times , Tezed-S - 2 times , Petrom Moldova – by 26,3%, Printemps - 20.6 % , LUKoil-Moldova - 2.9%.

In January-June 2013, the largest volumes of liquefied natural gas were imported to Moldova from Kazakhstan and Russia - 43.5 % and 34.1 % of the total, followed by Belarus and Romania - 17.2 % and 5.2 %, respectively. As it was informed before, in 2012, imports of liquefied gas to Moldova fell by 9.4% - up to 70.8 thousand tons.
