OREANDA-NEWS. Frontier Airlines has announced service from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) to Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) in the state capital of New Jersey.

Beginning Wednesday, February 12, 2014, the airline plans to operate a 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft with once daily service with a frequency of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Frontier Airlines will be the only airline providing scheduled service between TTN and CLT and it will be a new destination for CLT customers. Frontier is recognized as a low fare carrier and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (RJET). RJET is in its 20th year of operations and offers service to more than 75 destinations in the U.S., Mexico and Caribbean. The company also operates a number of other airlines at CLT including Republic Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines and Shuttle America, which provide service in partnership with Delta, Continental Express, United Express and US Airways Express.
