Transfers among the cards issued by the Bank of Moscow are free of charge while a fee for any other transfer amounts to 1.5% however at least 50 RUR.

In August 2013 the Bank of Moscow launched the BMmobile payment service for Android and Windows8 mobile devices. Now the same services are provided for iPhone users and for all Internet users via bmmobile.bm.ru portal.

The opened portal makes it possible to pay for mobile communications (no fees charged), check amounts credited and pay Moscow communal service bills with no commission using cards issued by the Bank of Moscow and with minimum commission (0.9%) using card issued by other banks, and to make p2p transfers with plastic cards. The portal services can be used by a holder of any card issued by a Russian bank via any device with access to the Internet with no registration procedures whatsoever.

The registered users of the BMmobile service have additional opportunities: higher operational limits, possibility to create uniform payment templates to be used with the mobile application and at the portal, and an opportunity to look through their payment history.

Another advantage of the service is that the client uses the same login and password to access both sites (the application and the portal). An unlimited number of plastic cards can be used with the account. The operational limits at the portal are higher than those of the mobile application.

The BMmobile service provides for up-to-date encoding procedures in accordance with the PCI DSS standard. To ensure security of debit payments from a payer’s bank card the 3DSecure techniques (Verified by Visa/MasterCard Secure Code) are applied in accordance with the rules established by the issuing bank.

"The assessments and comments of the users that we received after launching the BМmobile service for the Android and Windows Phone 8 platforms showed that the functionality of the application and its idea are in great demand in the bank online services market, and our clients had been waiting for the iPhone application", says Sergey Mednov, member of the Board of the Bank of Moscow. "We plan to expand the set of services in the near future to be paid for with BMmobile, and to develop the range of mobile applications and payment services of the Bank of Moscow".
