OREANDA-NEWS. At a ceremony to celebrate the 7th anniversary of Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, business school and International Paper jointly announced this year's winners of the scholarships for SKOLKOVO educational programmes. The successful applicants - Yuri Boklashov and Alexander Adushkin - were selected from fifteen talented participants during two contest phases and both were awarded International Paper scholarships.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, interim President of International Paper Russia Eric Chartrain said, “I'm delighted to be able to grant the scholarships to Yuri and Alexander. They are two exceptionally talented individuals. The competition was very stiff this year, the decision wasn't easy and it reflects very highly on the SKOLKOVO business school and the caliber of the individuals taking part in the programme”.

During the ceremony Eric Chartrain also gave special recognition to the best socially oriented community initiative developed within the Skolkovo MBA program. The “Life Button” project developed by co-founders Dmitry Yurchenko and Irina Linnik - were granted a special award on behalf of International Paper.

In conclusion, Eric Chartrain said, “Education is critical in helping the youth of today become the leaders of tomorrow, at International Paper we are incredibly proud to continue this great initiative by funding the scholarships and involving the students in our corporate projects and initiatives as well as personally mentoring them”.
