OREANDA-NEWS. The Government of Belarus has announced a list of high-profit companies, which will have to donate a certain proportion of their H1 2013 profits to the government's national development fund.

Twelve high-profit companies will have to invest part of their half-year profits (Jan-Jun '13) in the amount of Br212.222 billion (USD 23.168m) to the government's national development fund, according to the government's resolution #900 of October 11, 2013.

The list includes companies controlled by the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Transport, the Defence Industry Committee, Belgospischprom, Belneftekhim.

The major part of the burden falls on Gomeltransneft Druzhba - Br92.203 billion (USD 10.066 million). Belorusneft will part with Br51.2 billion (USD 5.59 million), OAO Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman - Br39.786 billion (USD 4.343 million), ZAO Gomel Van Plant - Br25.398 billion (USD 2.773 million); Gomel Castings Plant - Br554 million (Br60,480), OAO Gomel Electromechanical Plant - Br1.971 billion (USD 215,175), OAO Aircraft Repair Plant #558 - Br330 million (USD 36,026), OAO Radio Electronic Armament Repair Plant #2566 - Br150 million (16,376), OAO Radar - Br82 million (Br8,952), OAO Minsk Centre for Radio Material Research - Br104 million (USD 11.354), OAO Belalko distillery - Br125 million (USD 13,646).

The companies will pay their contribution to the state budget in the form of monthly instalments.

The practice of making mandatory contributions to the National Development Fund was introduced in December 2005.
