OREANDA-NEWS. ORLEN Lietuva subsidiary company ORLEN Eesti was awarded with the title of the Most Competitive Wholesale Enterprise 2013. The Competitiveness Ranking of Estonian Enterprises is an initiative of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Runners-up in the ranking of 59 wholesale companies were Baltic Agro AS and Wirtgen Eesti OU. In total the awards were given in 13 categories.

Siret Liivamagi, Chairman of the Management Board of Orlen Estonia, said quality products, stable supply lines and long-term close cooperation with major clients are the keys to success. Orlen Estonia will continue to implement the company's long-range strategy, being active on the market, catering for customers and doing the work in a manner that generates results.

Toomas Luman, president of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said at the award ceremony: “When we recognize our entrepreneurs, we recognize the core values of our society, without which we cannot imagine the development of our country. The wish to strive forward, to create new values, to do something better than before, the courage to make decisions and take responsibility, to commit to realizing your dreams are the values we recognize today. I do not believe that any entrepreneur would be able to stay competitive for long without these values.”

The aim of compiling the Competitiveness Ranking is to identify the most competitive enterprises, offer enterprises an opportunity to compare themselves against other enterprises of their kind, and assess the success, performance and sustainability of Estonian companies.
