OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) approved upon the draft Policies of “Zakamensk” CJSC and “Quartz” Prospectors'' Crew” Ltd. for sale of tungsten concentrate.

FAS recommended the companies to provide the approved sales policies to the customers upon their requests, or place the documents at the official web-sited of “Zakamensk” CJSC and “Quartz” Prospectors'' Crew” Ltd.

To create conditions for non-discriminatory access of consumers to tungsten concentrate and ensure priority supplies to the domestic market, FAS proposed to producers of raw tungsten to draft their sales Policies.

“AIR” Mining Company” was the first of the four producers of tungsten concentrate that received an approval and placed its Sales Policy at the company's web-site.

Currently FAS is considering a draft Sales Policy of “Novoorlovsky Mining and Processing Works” CJSC.

Thus, all for companies producing tungsten concentrate in the Russian Federation have drafted and submitted the Policies for sales of their products for FAS approval.

“Competition environment on the markets of tungsten concentrate is underdeveloped. At the same time there is a shortage of tungsten concentrate on the global markets. Introducing the Sales Policies that ensure non-discriminatory access of consumers to the goods will reduce the risks of infringing consumer interests and restricting competition on the adjacent markets”, emphasized the Head of FAS Department for Control over Industry and Defence Complex, Maxim Ovchinnikov.
