OREANDA-NEWS. Yenissey Shipping Company (YSC) analyzed the 2013 navigation results. At the October 24 press conference Aleksandr Ivanov, general director of YSC reported that the 2013 navigation came out uncomplicated. The annual cargo handling plan registers a 107% implementation, whereas, revenues results are at 112% mark, declared the head of the shipping company. The company transported more than 3,5 million tons of cargoes, of which 180 thousand tons were shipped to distant northern areas of Evenki and Taimyr. YSC experienced difficulties at Bolchaya Kheta river , where the fleet was stuck for more than two months due to impassable water levels. However, September rains relieved the draught, the fleet reached Yenissey river, leaving cargoes in Vankor port. On the whole, this navigation had enough water, hence, practically there were no accidents.

Angara river was also heavily navigated by Yenissey Shipping Company due to the program of making navigable low Angara river and reclamation of riverside territories, which led to the growth of cargo amounts. General volume of transported loads amounted to 560 thousand tons, which is 27% superior to the last year figures. All in all, 475 ships were engaged.

As made it clear Aleksandr Ivanov, the results of 2013 navigation YSC may be legitimately considered to be one of the best Russian shipping companies, since it managed to fulfill all the tasks with perfect timing.
