OREANDA-NEWS. The Blagoveschensk Valve Plant (JSC BVP, Blagoveschensk, Bashkortostan, a part of United Metallurgical Company, CJSC OMK) held a conference titled “Integration of BVP into OMK: Ways to Improve Quality of Valves Produced by the Plant.”

The event involved representatives of the Bashkir Expert Association, the Moscow Central Valve Design Bureau, the Scientific & Industrial Valve Manufacturing Association, the United Metallurgical Company, the JSC Trubodetal (Chelyabinsk, a part of OMK), as well as representatives from top customers of pipe valves: JSOC Bashneft, JSC Salavatneftekhimremstroy, JSC Uraltransneftproduct, the RusGazEngineering Group, etc. The conference attracted 50 participants from 30 companies and organizations.

This conference was the first of its type to be held at the plant since Blagoveschensk Valve Plant joined OMK. New projects, structure optimization, and production modernization evoked genuine interest among the event's participants. The plant's partners were interested in new opportunities, development strategy and price policy. The conference participants discussed urgent issues pertaining to the valve industry, future trends, and new possibilities for cooperation. The guests also visited the plant's production facilities and museum.

The plant is going to launch manufacturing of new products and develop the power energy valve sector. Alongside strengthening partnership links, this will enable us to improve our market positions and fully satisfy the needs of the gas, oil and energy power industries,” said Executive Director of BVP Alexander Kozhevnikov.
