OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 October, the presentation of the 'Lighting up the world' project, aimed at supporting children's creativity, took place in Gubkin. The project is among the priorities of the socio-economic partnership agreement between the Belgorod region and Metalloinvest.

Natalya Bratchina, deputy head of the Belgorod region Department of Culture, Svetlana Zhiryakova, deputy head of the Gubkin town administration, Lebedinsky GOK's managers, Metalloinvest representatives and Gubkin children's creative groups participated in the event.

The 'Lighting up the world' project is implemented in Gubkin and Stary Oskol, two towns of the Belgorod region where Metalloinvest has operations. In accordance with the social partnership agreement, in 2013, the Company plans to allocate RUB 10 million to this project. These funds are distributed between the local creative groups.

Two Gubkin children's music groups, the Dodola folk group and a national instruments band, received funds to purchase musical instruments; 'Miss Grace' rhythmic gymnastics group bought stage costumes; and young technicians' club got the required materials. Groups and clubs' representatives received participation certificates at the “Lighting up the world” project's official presentation.
