OREANDA-NEWS. AS Tallinna Vesi's shareholder United Utilities (Tallinn) B.V. has decided to extend the term of office of Mr Brendan Francis Murphy, the Supervisory Council member of AS Tallinna Vesi who is appointed by United Utilities (Tallinn) B.V. Mr Murphy's term of office is extended by two years from 27th of October 2013.

According to the Articles of Association of AS Tallinna Vesi, United Utilities (Tallinn) B.V. as a majority shareholder in AS Tallinna Vesi (35,3%) has the right to appoint two Supervisory Council members of AS Tallinna Vesi and the City of Tallinn as the other majority shareholder (34,7%) also has the right to appoint two Supervisory Council members. United Utilities (Tallinn) BV also has the right to present two Supervisory Council member candidates and the City of Tallinn has the right to present one Supervisory Council member candidate to be elected by the annual general meeting of AS Tallinna Vesi shareholders, which also elects the two independent Supervisory Council members.

As of 1st November 2013 the members of AS Tallinna Vesi's Supervisory Council are Robert John Gallienne, Steven Richard, Simon Gardiner and Brendan Francis Murphy (United Utilities Tallinn B.V.), Priit Lello, Rein Ratas and Toivo Tootsen (Tallinn City), Mart Magi and Allar Joks (independent).
