Moscow Arbitration Court confirmed legitimacy of FAS decision on a case on cartel on the market of catching and sales of Pollack and the products of its processing.

“Practically all participants of the “Pollack” cartel are held administratively liable and imposed “turnover” fines. The total size of the fines reached over 113 million RUB”, said Deputy Head of FAS Alexander Kinev. “The sum could have been much bigger; however, several companies cooperated with the antimonopoly authority in the course of the administrative investigation. According to the Code on Administrative Violations, it constituted a mitigating circumstance. The fines for these companies were reduced considerably”.
