OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2013. During 9 months 2013, Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) extended more than RUB 210 billion to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). At that, the financing of agribusiness SMEs grew 15% year-on-year and exceeded RUB 160 billion.

In 2013, about 40% of total lending was allocated by the Bank for investment purposes: construction and renovation of agribusiness enterprises, purchase of machinery and agricultural lands, and other.

RusAg places special focus on lending to small business patterns. In 2013, the Bank provided more than RUB 37 billion to agricultural consumer cooperatives, farms and individual entrepreneurs.

RusAg will continue its work aimed at increasing availability of credit resources by enhancing and expanding the product range and adapting it to the needs of its clients and the WTO requirements. Currently, RusAg’s SME loan portfolio amounts to RUB 575 billion.
