OREANDA-NEWS. 'The first well at the R. Trebs field is flowing, with the daily production rate totalling 260 tonnes, and its potential fully meets our expectations,' said Mikhail Stavskiy, Bashneft's First Vice President for Upstream.

M. Stavskiy reminded that in May 2013, production drilling started at three multi-well pads at the R. Trebs field and two pads at the A. Titov field. By 2015 another 15 wells are to be drilled at the fields.

As has been reported earlier, in August 2013, Bashneft-Polyus started oil production as part of developing the R. Trebs and A. Titov fields. In 2012 and 2013 field facilities were constructed and 12 exploration wells at the R. Trebs field were connected to associated equipment.

As part of preparation for pilot production, the company has built over 40 kilometres of oil-gathering pipelines, about 80 kilometres of power lines, the first stage of the Central Gathering Station (CGS) with the capacity of up to 1.5 million tonnes per year and a metering station, a high-pressure pipeline with the total length exceeding 31 kilometres connecting the CGS at the R. Trebs oilfield and the metering station in Varandey, as well as several auxiliary facilities.

Oil production at the Trebs and Titov fields is expected to total about 300 thousand tonnes in 2013 and up to 900 thousand tonnes in 2014. Oil production is expected to reach a plateau of 4.8 million tonnes by 2020. Overall, the cost of project implementation is estimated at 180 billion roubles.
