OREANDA-NEWS. One of the company's most frequently visited cafeterias has opened its doors to everyone after its restoration.

In the course of massive renovation of the cafeteria No. 12 located at the workshop 102, the overall dinning hall area has been expanded which allowed to increase the number of seats. At present the cafeteria No. 12 can accommodate up to 1500 of the company's employees for lunch during the day and evening shifts, a total of 216 at one sitting.

The cafeteria has undergone comprehensive refurbishment of all its production and sanitary-recreational offices. New, modern food-preparing equipment has been installed including two vapor convection heaters, a rotary furnace, proofing cabinets, robotized vegetable slicers and a mincing machine as well as new electrical kitchenware; the food kettles and refrigerating chambers have been replaced with new ones; a new warehouse for dry products and a modern dishwasher with drying function have been installed. A comfortable wardrobe and shower rooms have been engineered for the cafeteria's staff.

In order to facilitate catering to its visitors, three state-of-the-art distribution lines have been installed at the dining hall followed by the appearance of new tables, chairs, new dishware and tableware.

Ilya Fedorov, NPO Saturn chief executive officer, head of the Yaroslavl branch of the Russian Union of Mechanical Engineers visited the refurbished cafeteria No. 12 on the day of its inauguration. Having gone through the cafeteria catering process routinely experienced by a layman worker and having tasted several dishes, Ilya Fedorov spoke of his first impressions: “The lunch was delicious, wholesome and not expensive, as at any other Saturn's cafeteria. After the refurbishment the dinning hall appears more spacious and having more light. And what's most important is that we will continue upgrading our company cafeterias in the same exact way or even better thus creating the most comfortable conditions for the nutrition of the company's employees.”

“We continue to realize our plans aimed at the total renovation of the company's cafeterias, - underscored Alexey Molchanyuk, NPO Saturn HR director. - Previously the new, modern equipment was installed at the cafeterias No. 10 and 19 having undergone comprehensive refurbishment. However, cafeteria No. 12 - is one of the most visited and today its rigging is indeed state-of-the-art. The cost of renovation and refurbishment exceeded 50 million rubles. At that one lunch in such great conditions would cost a company's employee only 30 rubles as before.”

Six cafeterias in total are now in operation on the premises of NPO Saturn. The company will continue renovating them in the future.
