OREANDA-NEWS. The programme was launched. It is intended for executive officials of Moscow that are responsible for the innovative activity and directed at development of the participants as managers who have contemporary competencies in the field of the establishment of innovative city environment. The course features 50 executives that have successfully passed the qualification.

The programme consists of four five-day modules and the three-day finale that are going to take place on the SKOLKOVO business school Campus. The educational events list includes lectures, master classes, workshops, discussions and experience exchange with experts from various megalopolises and the officials will get acquainted with the tools of innovations support and contemporary projects in different areas. The programme also includes the preparation and defense of team projects that are going to become models for the successful solution of real problems of innovations management in Moscow. These projects are going to be concrete, innovative and city-oriented and will saturate the participants with new management competencies.

At the programme's opening Andrei Sharonov, Dean of the SKOLKOVO business school, underlined that the programme's main goal is to launch a tool of innovations stimulation and implementation, which will be able to change the city environment in Moscow. Alexei Komissarov, Head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow, said that for the first time the representatives of more than 40 different departments of the government have gathered together on one platform and this interdepartmental programme is summoned to unite forces of the representatives of the city's different structures.

The studies are set to be conducted by professors of leading universities and business schools of the world and founders and board members of high-tech companies, leaders of their respective industries. The following experts will share their experience and knowledge: Jean Louis Truel, Vice-President of Cercle-Kondratieff economists association, Maurice Saias, Professor of Strategy of IAE Aix-en-Provence, Vladimir Pirozhkov, Founder and President of the Industrial Design and Innovations Centre “ASTRAROSSA design”, Tim Campbell, Founder of Bright ideas trust, Karen Brown, Professor of Project Management University Thunderbird, and other experts.

The first module of the programme was dedicated to the contemporary city innovative environment trends and interaction between city officials and citizens in order to develop advanced technologies and has taken place on November 11-15, 2013. The second module is planned for December 2013. The programme will continue in 2014 and the final attestation is scheduled for next June.
