OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich demands that the country's proceeds of privatization of state-owned property in Q4 2013 and Q1 2014 should be at least USD 1.5 billion.

By achieving this target, Belarus will stabilize its monetary market and reduce interest rates for ruble credits, Myasnikovich said.

The premier said he was dissatisfied with privatisation efforts taken by local authorities in 2013.
