OREANDA-NEWS. In November 2013, the team of SUEK-Khakassia coal preparation plant set the record of 28.5K tonnes in daily coal processing. The previous month - October - also witnessed a record result: for the first time as many as 672K tonnes of coal were processed at the preparation plant within one month.

“These targets were achieved due to a number of concurrent factors,” says Alexei Keelin, the executive director of SUEK-Khakassia. “The CPP was supplied with enough railway gondola cars to facilitate rhythmic shipping. The proper quality of the coal supplied to the facility was provided by Chernogorsk open pit, Khakasskaya colliery. And, of course, another significant factor was the concerted efforts of the team that efficiently prepared the coal.”

The two modules of the facility fit to prepare coal of all classes produce 0 to 200 mm coal concentrate.
