OREANDA-NEWS.  The winners of the 16th All-Russian Competition 100 Best Goods of Russia 2013 were awarded at a regional conference devoted to the World Quality Day in Ufa. Among the winners is OAO Tuimazinskiy Zavod Avtobetonovozov (TZA), a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkiria, with its foam tower PPP-32.

TZA has for 10 years been participating in the competition 100 Best Goods of Russia. This year, the company has presented its PPP-32 foam tower on the KAMAZ-53228 all-wheel drive chassis. PPP-32 is an advanced mobile unit for extinguishing large fires at process installations of the oil, oil processing, petrochemical industries, and also in industrial and residential buildings. The vehicle lifts its special fire-fighting equipment with a 32-meter articulating boom. The main feature of the foam tower is that it extinguishes fire without the participation of crew members directly in a fire zone, which ensures their safety.

PPP-32 won in the competition not by chance. Fire-fighting foam towers have been produced in Tuymazy for more than 10 years and successfully operated in Russia and the CIS (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine). Foam towers are used by EMERCOM departments, firefighting units, chemical and oil-processing enterprises. Among the company’s partners are OOO TD Lukoil, OAO TNK BP, Rosneft.

According to Vyacheslav Grebyonkin, Sales Manager of TZA, requirements to competitors are getting stricter and stricter each year. The competition commission led by Grigory Elkin, Head of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology, President of MOO Academy of Quality Problems, includes senior specialists and experts of Russia. So, the received diploma is of great value.
