OREANDA-NEWS.  Vadim Gurinov, General Director of STG Group noted: “Acquisition of shares in CJSC Stroytransgaz will enable to Group to further establish its presence in the oil and gas industry due to the gaz projects portfolio. We are therefore finalizing the process of building STG Group as a multi-industry construction holding. Within the STG Group, CJSC Stroytransgaz will focus on projects of construction oil- and gas- pipelines, compression plants and other oil and gas facilities”. 
STG Group is one of the leading construction corporations in Russia. The Group is comprised of the following construction companies with Stroytransgaz Holding (STGH) being the shareholder in all of them: PJSC Stroytransgaz (94,5%, power, industrial and infrastructure construction), ARKS GC (25%), SK MOST Group (25%).

CJSC Stroytransgaz (until 2012  - Argus Pipeline Service)  is involved in oil and gas infrastructure projects, where it delivers a full range of works including design, procurement, construction, revamping and maintenance. At the moment, the company takes part in the projects such as Kazachia compression plant and a second phase of Bovanenkovo-Ukhta gas pipeline which is a development project for gas infrastructure in the regions of Russia.
