OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines has successfully passed its regular EASA Audit.

EASA experts confirmed high levels of MRO procedures for the Transaero fleet and its full compliance with all flight safety and security requirements set by the European aviation authorities. In addition, they confirmed it guarantees the maximum possible control over the technical condition of the aircraft.

EASA experts conducted the audit of Transaero's base MRO facilities at Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Pulkovo international airports, as well as carried out an audit of line stations at Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk airports.

The Technical Department of Transaero has also successfully passed certification procedures on expanding the B1 rating which enables top-case repair of CFM-56 engines. This procedure allows the replacement of engine blades using the most advanced methods.

Following the results of the EASA Audit, Transaero becomes the first Russian carrier to receive the C6 certificate, allowing repair works for catering equipment, including those to be installed on the new Airbus А380 and Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental aircraft ordered by the Airline.

The MRP bases of Transaero are expanding their production facilities allowing the Airline to create new high-skilled jobs. It is of utmost importance to us that EASA confirmed again Transaero's compliance with the highest requirements for fleet MRO”.
