OREANDA-NEWS. American Airlines today began its new nonstop service between Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW) and Juan Manuel Galvez International Airport (RTB) in Roatan, Honduras. American will operate the new service every Saturday using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 16 seats in Business Class and 134 seats in the Main Cabin.

In addition, American increased its frequencies between Roatan and Miami International Airport (MIA) to three times per week. Starting today, American will offer this route on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

“We have served Honduras for more than two decades and are proud to increase our presence in the country and offer our customers even more routes and frequencies,” said Verna Osorto, American's Country Manager for Honduras and Nicaragua.
