OREANDA-NEWS. NEC Corporation announced its participation in Small Cells Americas 2013, from 3 to 4 December 2013 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel, Dallas, Texas.

NEC showcases its innovative market leading technology at stand 35, including the LTE Femtocell, LTE microcell base station, MB4300, in combination with iPASOLINK SX, NEC's full packet radio solution supporting small cell backhaul and outdoor deployment.  This allows operators to have a comprehensive set of small cell solutions for the residential, enterprise and public segments, which are designed to relieve the challenges operators are facing in terms of coverage and traffic volumes.

Also during the conference, Martin Guthrie, Head of Business Development for Small Cells, NEC Europe Ltd., will speak about "Enterprise IBS: Considering the True TCO." This presentation will compare and contrast the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of an Enterprise Small Cell architecture with more traditional In-Building Solutions (IBS) such as DAS.
