OREANDA-NEWS. Fujitsu announced that it has for the first time been selected for the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register investment universe by Forum ETHIBEL, a European non-profit organization that promotes socially responsible investing (SRI) and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The selection is based on an assessment of Fujitsu's CSR activities in the six domains of its evaluation criteria: market ethics, human rights, the environment, social impact, good governance, and human capital . Fujitsu was selected for inclusion in the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register since October 31, 2013. This selection by Forum ETHIBEL indicates that a company performs better than average in its sector in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Based in Belgium, Forum ETHIBEL is a non-profit organization that promotes SRI and CSR in Europe. Companies are selected for inclusion in its Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register investment universe on the basis of their results in the six domains of its evaluation criteria and their demonstration of strong performance from the perspective of CSR.

This is the first time Fujitsu has been named to the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register, making it one of 369 companies selected worldwide, including 62 companies from Japan.
