OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2013. The Government works intensively on preparing of documents for a meeting of Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission, slated for December 17. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov announced during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to Mykola Azarov, among the documents are the Protocol on supply of goods as the part of industrial cooperation in 2014 (in fact, it is an industrial program for the following year for the largest national machine-building enterprises), Memorandum of joint activities in construction of a transport route through the Kerch Strait, the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on the joint practical organizational and technical control in border checkpoints via Ukrainian-Russian state border.

“All these questions are breaking our bilateral trade. All these questions that have been worked on for over 2 years. Now we are close to settlement of these problems,” Mykola Azarov said.
According to him, just the mentioned documents will be considered by the Government at today’s meeting.

The Premier underlined that during the 6 th meeting of the interstate commission it was planned to sign the Action Plan on settlement of trade restrictions in bilateral trade between Ukraine and Russia for 2013 – 2014.

“I just want to stop the speculations: there won’t be any talks about the Customs Union, the Government is not preparing any documents. I want to prevent the speculations. Therefore, I declare that responsibly,” he stressed.
