OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) agreed upon draft trading-and-sales policy of “Novy Orel Mining and Processing Works” CJSC for sales of tungsten concentrate and recommended the company to publish the approved document in the Internet at the official web-sites of “Novy Orel Mining and Processing Works” CJSC and organizations included in the same group of persons with them.

FAS proposed to the producers of tungsten concentrate to devise trade-and-sales policy in order to create conditions for non-discriminatory access of consumers to к tungsten concentrate and its priority supply to the domestic markets.

Thus, the largest producers of tungsten concentrate in the Russian Federation agreed their trade-and-sales policy with FAS.

“Markets of tungsten concentrate have underdeveloped competitive environment. At the same time there is a shortage of tungsten concentrate in the world markets. Expanding the practice of devising trade-and-sales policy that ensure non-discriminatory access of consumers to the goods, reduce the risks of infringing consumer interests and restricting competition on the adjacent markets”, emphasized the Head of FAS Department for Control over Industry and Defence Complex.
