OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2013. We would like to draw your attention to the changes in the internet bank Trast.Net work in connection with the euro changeover on January 1, 2014.

In the night of January 1, cash balances in lats of all accounts, including payment card accounts will be automatically converted into euros at the official exchange rate (1 EUR = 0.702804 LVL)).

The transaction type "Domestic payment in LVL" will no longer exist and a new type of transactions "EUR payment within EEA" will be introduced for payments in the euro to any European Economic Area country, including Latvia, according to the beneficiary’s account number in IBAN format and beneficiary bank’s SWIFT code. The commission fee SHA with value date Т +1 will be applied to these payments.

The amounts specified in lats in previously created document templates will be automatically converted into euros at the official exchange rate. You will be able to use these document templates also in future, only having checked, when making a payment, whether the amount in euros matches the agreement you entered into or  your intended payment!

The amounts specified in lats in regular payment documents, as well as minimum/maximum maintainable account balances in lats will be converted into euros. Please check that the regular payment amount in euros matches the agreement you entered into or your intended payment!

By copying any earlier payments in lats, the payment amount will be automatically converted into euros.

The SMS Info Service will be available as before, the amounts specified in lats will not be converted into euros, but the service currency will be changed. For example, if you have so far received notices of transactions exceeding 5 LVL, then from January 01, 2014 you will be notified of transactions exceeding 5 euros.

The amounts in customer questionnaires will remain in lats, however, when editing or copying the questionnaire, they will be converted into euros.

For payment import, please note that
- LVL currency cannot be used in the payment order,
- for EUR payments within EEA information about the intermediary bank is not needed,
- for EUR payments within EEA specify only the commission fee SHA.
The internet banking system will not accept for execution any improperly prepared payment orders.
