ICBC has been named one of the "Top 10 Organizations in Corporate Culture Competitiveness" at the recently held "Corporate Culture Competitiveness - Chinese & Foreign Corporate Culture 2013 Shanghai Summit" for the commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of China’s Reform and Opening-up.

Sponsored by China Corporate Culture Institute, this year's Summit aims at reviewing corporate culture building experience since China embarked on the path of reform and opening-up 35 years ago, verifying the effect of corporate culture competitiveness on corporate development, and exchanging views on nurturing competitive corporate culture for the development of corporate culture with Chinese characteristics. The attendees shared views on "the working mechanism of corporate culture competitiveness", "evaluation on the effectiveness of corporate culture competitiveness", "corporate culture competitiveness and corporate transformation", as well as "corporate culture competitiveness and China dream".

The Summit summarized the previous survey on corporate cultural competitiveness and awarded Top 10 Organizations, Top 10 Champions, Top 30 Companies, Excellent Organizations and Best Performers. ICBC was named one of the " Top 10 Organizations in Corporate Culture Competitiveness".

Commenting on the award to ICBC, the organization committee said ICBC's total assets, customer deposits and annual profit surged 59 times, 108 times and 42 times respectively, making it the world's largest bank by capital, deposit, profitability and brand value. Led by the value known as "Integrity Leads to Prosperity", ICBC has made significant contribution to the sustainable development of China's and even the world’s economy.
