The winner of this year’s CEPSA Group Special Award is the Asociacion Pro-Personas con Necesidades Socio-Educativas Especiales in Campo de Gibraltar (ASANSULL). The winning project was chosen by the Company's employees who voted on the corporate Intranet.

The CEPSA Social Value Awards for the Madrid region took place today, the same day on which all the successful candidates in the 2013 edition received the good news that they had won. The event was attended by members of the judging panel who included Carlos Izquierdo, Vice Councillor for Family and Welfare of the Community of Madrid and CEPSA's General Manager of Communication and Institutional Relations Alfonso Escamez, as well as representatives of the award-winning organisations and the Company employees who sponsored the successful projects.

According to CEPSA's General Manager of Communication and Institutional Relations, Alfonso Escamez, “Since the competition's creation in 2005, CEPSA has helped to develop a total of 135 community projects. The CEPSA Social Value Awards are one of the company's most important Corporate Social Responsibility activities, and a way of helping disadvantaged people in regions where the CEPSA Group works. The awards are an excellent way of getting group employees involved in joint initiatives, promoting CEPSA's values inside and outside our borders".

These awards enable CEPSA to invest in social integration and to recognise the best initiatives that encourage the inclusion and wellbeing of disadvantaged people and groups.
