OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2013. It was said by the chairman of the parliamentary committee for economy, budget and finance Veaceslav Ionita.

He said that in addition to that the country’s populated localities would receive about 1.6 billion leis within the framework of different programs and projects implemented at the expense of grants and credits. Veaceslav Ionita said the year of 2014 may become the year of big building in Moldova. Speaking about the state budget deficit in 2014 that will exceed 2.4 billion leis, the deputy said the deficit of the main components of the budget would amount to 600 million leis (0.6 per cent of the GDP).

Ionita said the rest budget deficit had to do with the amounts of foreign grants and credits for capital investments.

The deputy said that for example the 20-million-euro grant provided by Romania for education development is in the budget deficit chapter. “God help us to have such a budget deficit”, he emphasized.
