OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2013. The state is ready to help those who produce competitive products. This was stressed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at the Cabinet meeting.

The Prime Minister emphasized the need for modernization of the Ukrainian economy as only this can make it competitive. It is for this purpose should be directed, first of all, credit resources that will be available in Ukraine due to the Moscow agreements of the Heads of States.

The Prime Minister announced two major tasks. The first: every kopeck of credit to be directed on the modernization of the economy and give appropriate effect. The second, we must create the conditions so that all businesses that are going to stay on the Ukrainian market perform the modernization.

Mykola Azarov noted that the Government can not afford itself to invest in businesses where there is no reasonable real modernization plans.

“The state is ready to help to those who is able to produce competitive products and the state will not keep anyone who “eats” resources (spend funds inefficiently), Mykola Azarov stressed. - Our economy will not operate as before. This is not an administrative order, but a hard market dictate.”
