OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2013. Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank, held a working meeting with Rustam Minnihanov, the President of Tatarstan.

The main topics on the agenda were cooperation of the Bank and the Republic administration for the support of the key economic industries of the region in the framework of the Cooperation Agreement on implementation of the State Program on Agribusiness Development for 2013-2020.

RusAg’s primary focus is the development of agribusiness infrastructure and support of rural areas. Currently, the Bank’s share in lending to this sector in the Republic exceeds 26%, with share in seasonal field works financing reaching 97%. For 10 months of 2013, RusAg provided more than RUB 8.5 billion in loans to agribusiness and other key industries of the region. RusAg supports the implementation of 121 local investment projects with total lending of RUB 1.92 billion.

The Bank is ready to cooperate with enterprises in agribusiness and other subsectors such as wood processing, food and processing industry, logistics, and construction of sales premises.
