OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2013. The Bank of East Asia (“BEA”) announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, The Bank of East Asia (China) Limited (“BEA China”), has opened a new branch in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province.

Located in the southeastern part of Jiangsu Province, Wuxi has benefited from the Yangtze River Delta’s impressive economic growth in recent decades. Wuxi is a major centre of light industries and leads the nation in the production of textiles, apparel, electronics, and other consumer products. In addition, Wuxi is home to growing heavy industry and high tech sectors including iron, steel, IT, and recently, solar energy equipment industries.
