OREANDA-NEWS. Following the meeting held on 28 December 2013, the Board of Directors of Uralkali (LSE: URKA; the Company) has resolved to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (“EGM”) in the form of a meeting on 24 March 2014 in Berezniki, Perm Region, Russian Federation.

The EGM will consider the early termination of powers of all the current members of the Company's Board and the election of a new Board. Shareholders registered as at the record date of 9 January 2014 will be eligible to participate in the EGM.
