OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2013. Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) joined the Combined Settlement System (CSS), a nationwide network of automated teller machines and cash dispensing points that consolidates the networks of automated teller machines, cash dispensing points, and payment handling points of more than 150 lending institutions under a common trademark on identical technological and financial terms.

Today, the joint infrastructure providing services to bank cardholders comprises over 20,000 automated teller machines (ATMs) and more than 4,000 offices. This cooperation will enable Sviaz-Bank’s customers to withdraw cash and make payments in the Bank’s own network and through other automated teller machines and offices under the CSS logo.

Customers can now withdraw cash from CSS automated teller machines at uniform charge rates that are identical to those applying at the Bank’s ATMs.

Sviaz-Bank’s membership in the CSS will help expand significantly the infrastructure and geographic spread of services the Bank offers its customers and make them more accessible still.
Settlements between the system members are managed by the CSS Nonprofit Organization, OJSC.

The Combined Settlement System project has been approved by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
