OREANDA-NEWS. January 08, 2014. According to the balance of payments, published by NBM, supply of such production made up 24.6% of a total amount of goods exported in Q3, 2013 against 25.1% recorded in the same period of last year.

In particular, the export of cloths and clothing accessories made in Moldova under the lohn regime amounted to USD65.51 million, the export of cable and wire for the automobile industry being USD 53.31 million.

The footwear and footwear spares supply was USD 7.32 million in this period, the export of suitcases, bags and leather wallets making USD 4.47 million. Major customers providing Moldova with row materials to produce goods were Romania, Italy and Great Britain. In the reporting period, expressed in percentage, the exports of such goods grew most to Russia (+56.3%), Romania (+35.4%), Bulgaria (+30.9%), and Slovakia (+25.6%).

Expressed in monetary terms, the greatest amounts of the exports of goods made of customer-supplied feedstock were exported to the following states: Romania - USD 68.59 million; Italy - USD 34.88 million; Great Britain - USD 16.49 million; Germany - USD 6.31 million; Turkey- USD 6.01 million; Poland - USD 3.31 million; Russia -\\$2.75 million, Belgium - USD 1.67 million, the Netherlands - USD 1.64 million.

The feedstock supplied by foreign customers is used in Moldova chiefly at garments and footwear factories and at companies producing auto spares and cable for the automobile industry.
