OREANDA-NEWS. The Trubodetal Plant (Trubodetal, Chelyabinsk, a part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK) has been licensed by the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service (Rostechnadzor), and has started delivering pipeline fittings for nuclear power companies.

The plant has been licensed to design equipment for nuclear power stations. This enables Trubodetal to attract new clients and significantly enlarge its product range.

The first delivery made by Trubodetal was for the Mayak production association(a part of the Rosatom corporation). The order included knuckle bends produced from stainless steel by cold deformation. At present, the plant ships products for the Beloyarskaya nuclear power station (Sverdlovsk region) by order of the JSC ZiO-Podolsk Machine-Building Plant.

“The Trubodetal Plant is one of the few companies able to produce the whole range of fittings for the nuclear power industry. At present, the outlook for us is good, and we are steadily moving towards our objective - to become a key deliverer of pipeline fittings for nuclear power stations,” said Chief of Nuclear Power Station Projects at Trubodetal, Vladimir Korotyaev.
