OREANDA-NEWS. Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging markets investment bank, has appointed Robert Lamprecht as Head of African Sales.

Based in Johannesburg, Mr. Lamprecht will report to Renaissance's Global Head of Equity Distribution Florian Hellmich, as well as Clifford Sacks, CEO of Renaissance Capital in Africa; and will be responsible for managing and expanding the Firm's sales across the continent. Renaissance Capital has three offices in Africa located in Lagos, Nairobi and Johannesburg.

With 26 years in the investment industry, Robert has spent the past 13 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he held various senior positions in equities and equity distribution. Prior to joining Renaissance Capital Mr. Lamprecht was head of South African sales in Johannesburg, having previously run EEMEA sales globally both from London and New York.
