OREANDA-NEWS. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev received the delegation led by Kim Fejfer, CEO of Dutch APM Terminals.

Welcoming the guests, Mr. Abdullayev spoke about the recent development in the country, large-scale energy projects and key works implemented in the logistics sphere. According to him, a modern shipyard has commissioned and the construction of a new seaport is successfully underway. Under the agreement signed in February 2013, APM Terminals will operate Petlim Container Port of Petkim Petrochemical Holding, SOCAR’s biggest assets in Turkey. Mr. Abdullayev stressed the successful cooperation between the sides, progress in the construction of the Aliaga port, which is of great importance and will be one of the most important logistics centers in Turkey.

Thanking for reception, CEO of Dutch APM Terminals Kim Fejfer expressing confidence on successful realization of the project and stated of his company’s readiness to expand cooperation with SOCAR.

In the course of the meeting, the sides exchanged views on mutually interesting issues.
