OREANDA-NEWS. The state-owned Belarusian company OAO Belaruskali has announced a tender to purchase vacuum crystallization equipment worth Br954.84 billion (USD 100.3 million), a company representative told.

The new equipment will be used for manufacturing coarse-cristalline mineral potassium chloride. The new equipment is expected to have a life cycle of at least 15 years. The company wants to have the new equipment delivered by December 31, 2015.

The state-owned Belarusian company OAO Belaruskali is one of the world's largest manufacturers of potash fertilizers, employing about 18,440 personnel. It operates the Starobinskoye potash salts deposit and comprises four mine groups, auxiliary shops and support units.

Belaruskali controls more than 16% of the world's potash fertilizer market.
