OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 0.9% on the year in 2013 to 636.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 66.541 billion at the central bank's exchange rate), an official with Belarus' National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in 2013 decreased 4.8% on the year to Br609.2 trillion (USD 63.657 billion).

Farm output reduced 4% to Br105.3 trillion (USD 11 billion).

The government had planned to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.

In 2012, Belarus' GDP grew 1.5% on the year to 527.4 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 55.11 billion).
