OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines has confirmed its top AAA(s) rating for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which the company first received in 2012.

Russian rating agency Reputatsia (Reputation) published the CSR ranking of major Russian companies for the second year in a row. The agency evaluated the companies' performance on more than 180 criteria, including economic efficiency and administrative management, interaction with customers, labor management relations and respect for employees' rights, interaction with society, ecological friendliness and environmental control.

The top CSR rating of Transaero Airlines reflects the acknowledgement of the company's high reputation among society and the expert community.

Reputatsia agency highlights that the AAA(s) rating, received by Transaero for the second time, demonstrates that the airline's CSR activities fully meet the requirements of society. The company provides a high degree of informational transparency with regards to its CSR activities for all interested parties and constantly demonstrates positive dynamics of its performance in this area.

The ranking agency's experts highlighted the following positive factors in the airline's activities:

more than 20 years of sustainable development;

safety and quality of the services provided;

stable growth in economic performance;

consistent approach to charitable and social activities;

efficient system of employee assistance and social support.

Transaero continuously enhances its activities and contributes to strengthening the system of interaction between business and society.

In 2013 Transaero's achievements were also recognized on an international level by Skytrax agency who named the airline “The Most Improved Airline” at the World Airline Awards.

Transaero is the only Russian airline to have received the top CSR rating AAA(s).
