OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2014. Sberbank held its annual analyst meeting with management. Speakers at the event were Alexander Morozov, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Anton Karamzin, Senior Vice President and Anastasia Belyanina, Head of Investor Relations.

The meeting was attended by more than 25 leading analysts, representing Russian and international investment houses and covering Sberbank.

Alexander Morozov presented forecasts for key financial indicators for 2014 (see presentation). The main priority of Sberbank is to increase its operational efficiency, which is especially important given the banking sector slowdown. Alexander Morozov also emphasized that Sberbank is ready for the transition to Basel 3 in accordance with the new regulations (Regulation 395-P), and, based on the management estimates, by 01.02.2014 core capital will exceed RUB 1.3 trln. Therefore the adequacy of core equity tier one ratio will be above 8% (excluding the bank's profits for the second half of 2013).
