OREANDA-NEWS. The volume of crude hydrocarbons processing at GNS plants has risen by almost 10% (more than 7.4 mln. tons), with more than 35% rise in the amount of natural gas liquids processing (up to 2.5 mln. tons). Besides, in 2013, the Oil Refinery, the Gas and Chemical Plant and the Monomer Plant increased their output of certain products.

Thus, as compared with 2012, implementation of fast-payback projects and modernization of production capacities of the Company's Oil Refinery up to 50% resulted in increased production of motor fuel, emission classes 4 and 5, with about 6.6% rise in the feedstock conversion ratio that reached 81.2%.

Ammonia production increased by 4.1 % up to 480 180 tons at the Gas and Chemical Plant. Ethylene production increased by 25% up to 277 148 tons, low-density polyethylene production increased by 4.9% up to 36 087 tons,73 412 tons of high-density polyethylene were produced, that is 52. 2% more than in 2012. Such high operational efficiency of the Gas and Chemical and the Monomer plants was reached due to large-scale capital repairs.

For reference: Gazprom neftekhim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia with a complete cycle of crude hydrocarbons processing. The range of products includes gasolines, diesel fuel, kerosene, other oil products, liquefied gases, butyl alcohols, plasticizers, polyethylene, polystyrene, ammonia, urea and other products. Being the major exporter in Russia, the Company constantly revamps the existing production facilities and constructs new plants, implements up-to-date automated process control systems and improves the governance structure for optimization of the Company operations.
