OREANDA-NEWS. Electricity output across the Group (Irkutskenergo, Krasnoyarskaya HPP, Volgaenergo, other) TWh 78.2 (2012) 77.3 (2013)

Including, by type of power plants: electricity output at CHPPs TWh 18.5 (2012) 15.1 (2013)

electricity output at HPPs TWh 59.7 (2012) 62.2 (2013)

Heat output across the Group (Irkutskenergo, Volgaenergo, other) mln Gcal 28.7 (2012) 26.6 (2013)

Electricity transmission TWh 46.5 (2012) 45.9 (2013)

Due to efforts aimed at performing a system-wide task of filling the Boguchanskoye reservoir and maintaining the water level in it, in 2013 the load on the Angara cascade of HPPs of OJSC Irkutskenergo was reduced. At the same time, the target set for the Krasnoyarskaya HPP was exceeded due to hydrological conditions: daily average flow rates ranged between 2,150 and 4,900 m?/s. Heat output decreased as a result of abnormally high temperatures (7 degrees higher than in 2012) and changes in the pattern of heat (steam) consumption by large industrial consumers (Ilim Group, AECC, Russalt, Usolye-Sibirsky Silicon).

Vyacheslav Solomin, acting CEO of OJSC EuroSibEnergo: “In 2013, both thermal and hydroelectric power plants within power systems controlled by the Group operated steadily, and there were no accidents, despite considerable changes in temperature and hydrological conditions and efforts to tackle challenging system-wide tasks. Moreover, the Group fully implemented investment plans developed in order to enhance the performance and reliability of power plants.”
