OREANDA-NEWS. The company AKHANGARANCEMENT, which is part of EUROCEMENT Group, has shown steady growth in its main output figures for 2013. In the period in question, 1,166,785 tonnes of clinker (a semi-finished product used in cement manufacturing) was produced, along with 1,620,131 tonnes of cement, results which exceed last year's figures by 13% (137,600 tonnes) and 6% (86,400 tonnes) respectively.

In 2013, 1,613,645 tonnes of high-quality cement was delivered to consumers, which exceeds last year's figure by 6% (88,100 tonnes). The company is also showing steady growth in the amount of containerized cement delivered. In the period in question, 345,200 tonnes of cement was delivered in 50 kg sacks, which exceeded the figure for 2012 by 23% (63,700 tonnes).

The cement that is most in demand among consumers is PPC 400. The aggregate amount of this type of cement that was delivered (both loose and containerized) amounted to 40.8% of the total volume of products delivered by the company.

In 2013, the company's alpine warehouse extracted and used 1,641,350 tonnes of limestone, which was 19% (265,960 tonnes) higher than the equivalent figure for last year.

The construction materials and structures plant, which is part of AKHANGARANCEMENT, produced 33,014 i3 of iron and concrete products in 2013. These figures were 72% higher than the level achieved in 2012.
